This collaboration is super special to both Kumar and myself, as it continues our mission to bring Afro-Cuban songs dedicated to the Orishas. Tradition inherited from the Yoruba people that came to Cuba through the Africans brought as slaves more than 500 years ago but that is still maintained in Cuba through our spiritual practices.

Especially this trilogy dedicated to Elegua, Oya and Shango allowed me to create three different environments but united in an organic way, giving rise to three new songs where we pay tribute to these deities. To the messenger of Olodumare, to the mistress of storms and to the king of drums and dance.
